Club Gear

The Club owns quite a bit of gear that we regularly use to supplement our own. If you need to borrow anything, let someone on the committee know when you sign up for the meet and we'll do our best to accomodate you. If you want to borrow something at a time other than on a meet, then message the Gear officer, at least a few days before you need it.

 

 

General Equipment

• 1 Group shelter (The Infamous Livi Bivi)
• 2 Large First Aid Kits
• 1 Sleeping Bag
• 4 Roll Mats

Climbing

• 10 x Helmets
• 11 x Harnesses
• 3 x 50m, 10mm single ropes (for outdoor leads)
• 3 x 50m, 10.5mm single ropes (for top roping only)
• 1 12mm 50m single rope

The Club Rack

• 8 x 60cm slings
• 4 x 120cm slings
• 2 x 240cm slings
• 1 set of rocks on wire
• 5 x Quickdraws (12cm)
• 5 x ATC Belay Plates (with HMS screw gates)
• 1 car Jack (you never know)

 

Winter Gear

• 1 set Technical Ice Axes
• 10 Walking Axes
• 4 pairs crampons
